What else is new in this RimWorld update? Thanks to the August ideoligion update, changing your faith to one with this tenet should be easy, too, so if your colonists need to scratch out their eyes to see their god, you're covered. Perhaps the most intriguing change, though, is that biosculpters will now no longer heal missing eyes "if the pawn's ideoligion approves of blindness". Cycles now take 5 nutrition to complete, and you'll need to load in the resource prior to beginning the cycle. Power consumption has been reduced, and if a pod is biotuned, it'll run cycles at a 25% faster rate. There are plenty of other changes to the biosculpter system in the new RimWorld update. This event can be disabled in mod options in case you are a coward. The new RimWorld update understands that if a war is going on, biosculpter micromanagement is the least of your worries. Mimes don't spawn in the wild, they will only appear through a "Wanderer Joins" event that is identical to the base game's. Mimes are always hostile and can't be tamed, even with exploits or dev mode. This is understandably traumatic for everyone involved. If the Mime starts to not be fed properly (more than a few hours with Malnutrition) it will abandon its charade and show its true form, immediately attacking the other colonists, perhaps even those who considered it to be a friend or even family. You will notice them eating way more meals than the rest of the colonists. The only difference is that their hunger will be considerably higher than that of a normal human colonist. These "hidden" mimes will behave exactly like a colonist would, and will work, form relationships, obey your commands, etc, in the same way a colonist would. Mimes will join the colony as a "Wanderer", completely indistinguishable from a regular colonist.

Only when food runs out will they resort to directly attacking their unwitting hosts. Their voracious appetites, however, cause them to constantly consume the easily available food provided by a stable colony. Mimes are psionically gifted parasites, using their mental powers to disguise themselves as normal humans, infiltrating a human community and living among its members for weeks, months or even years. Whereas most of the "alien" animals of the Rim are heavily genetically modified versions of Earth animals, the Mime is an absolute violation of all ethical principles: a ravenous, animalistic being created by genetically modifying humans.
